Tutorial M3i Zero on 3DS
By hack on 29.Mar.2011
With the launching of the Nintendo 3DS, and the 0 security put by Nintendo about flashcarts, the most of the cartridges from Nintendo DSi are compatible with the new 3DS, although only in the DS mode.
By this moment we don't know if these cartridges will be useful to execute our backups from 3DS, but while we don't know we can use all the goods of the new portable from Nintendo with our M3i Zero.
In this tutorial we're gonna explain what we have to do to execute the M3i Zero in our Nintendo 3DS and does not appear the error “No SD Card”
-
We must download the following files
-
Once is downloaded, we must unzip it. It must rest the following items
-
System Folder
-
File F_Core.dat
-
File M3GUpdaterPlus_142.nds
-
We can also create the NDS folder and put there all our backups, which will allow us locate them at the first button of the M3i Zero.
-
Once is downloaded, we copy all that to the boot of the microSD. When is copied, we put our microSD in the M3i Zero, and we connect the programmer( black wire) and it to the PC. Often it will start to blink since the beginning and several times the light will stay without blinking and a few seconds later it will start to blink. This is completely normal, it depends of the cartridge.
When it stops blinking, the cartridges will be already flashed.

-
We put the M3i Zero in a DS Lite or Nintendo DSi and we check that the new icon has been changed for one “Finding Nemo”. We click in it and them we access to the interface of the M3.
-
When we are at the menu, we execute the file M3GUpdaterPlus_142.nds. At the options that we have now, we choose the option “Slot 1” and then will appear a black screen with some text. This moment it shows us that we have to press twice “Start” and the cartridges will start to update itself.
As soon as all has finished, we could turn the console down and use our M3i Zero with the 3DS. Wait some time before turn the console down because the firmware changing take two parts, and if it's blocked before it ends could break the cartridge.

Comments
But it doesn't play all the games. For example; it will not start "Sims3" for DSi.
Do I have to put a new "system"file on my card? If so, can I do this without having to flash and update?
