By hack on 17.Aug.2011 facebook_16 twitter_16 delicious_16 bitacoras

One of the notable absentees from the Sony conference at GamesCom was Starhawk. But this does not mean we can not enjoy a new gallery of images from the game, about which I offered the first details some time ago, but I turn to leave here.

Starhawk Details:

  • Exclusive to Playstation 3
  • We will be in a world called The Frontier
  • Emmet Graves will star in the campaign mode
  • The campaign mode is quite extensive
  • Controlling the game is identical to that of any shooter
  • 4-player cooperative mode
  • Competitive online mode is very fluid and a higher level than Warhawk
  • Great catalog arsenal
  • Collect parts to build vehicles (both ground and air) and buildings (turrets and bunkers)
  • Although modeling is not art, it is expected that the effects of light do the work
  • It can destroy any object we find
  • We will learn different skills to make life easier

Playstation Network work 100% at the end of this week

By hack on 31.May.2011 facebook_16 twitter_16 delicious_16 bitacoras

Sony has announced that all services PlayStation Network and Sony Online Entertainment will operate at 100% at the end of the week.

After the wave of attacks and data theft, the company has been restoring Japan's system gradually. At week's end a multitude of users reached us an email from the company detailing the opening again of SOE, the service that manages your PC MMO. In the case of Playstation Network, everything worked relatively normally except or Playstation Home Playstation Store.

So this week we return to enjoy demos and DLC's, and hopefully the games are already available in the program Welcome Back .

Starhawk is displayed in a new trailer

By hack on 13.May.2011 facebook_16 twitter_16 delicious_16 bitacoras

From GTTV Starhawk show for the first time, supposedly the successor of Warhawk, a title that has a multiplayer player powerful enough for large skirmishes on the PlayStation Network (sorry, Playstation Notwork).

Actually the video shows a lot and everything we expected, ground fighting on its own or back of a wick that is capable of becoming a ship.

Starhawk details:

  • Exclusive to Playstation 3
  • We will be in a world called The Frontier
  • Emmet Graves will star in the campaign mode
  • The campaign mode will be quite extensive
  • Control of the game is identical to that of any shooter
  • 4-player cooperative mode
  • Competitive online mode is very fluid and a higher level than Warhawk
  • Great catalog of arsenal
  • Collect parts to build vehicles (both land and air) and buildings (turrets and bunkers)
  • Although modeling is not art, it is expected that the effects of lights do the job
  • It can destroy any object we find
  • We will learn different skills to make life easier

We leave you with the video of the interview which Geoff Keighley and video showing some ingame:

By hack on 12.May.2011 facebook_16 twitter_16 delicious_16 bitacoras

After putting all references of companies that came to mind (obviously missing a lot, you can put the missing on the website of Classora ).

In this survey suggest you evaluate the various game developers, who will appear to do a good job in their titles?, Who is showing better quality?.

Sony charged directly to the group's last attack

Sony seems to have given directly to the point where they could do more damage. One of the most striking features of the console users is that online gambling is completely free. Unfortunately, after recent events, that will remain in the background, and what people will remember is the uncertainty of the company's Japan and the theft of personal data and credit card numbers and (presumably) the security codes of them.

In addition, a few days ago also confirmed the theft of data on the division of Sony Online Entertainment, which holds some of the MMO company like DC Universe Online .

In the new episode of this horrible movie, Sony has stepped forward to point the finger at the group Anonymous, which as we all will know you spent a few weeks ago to topple Playstation Network, justifying the attack as a response to the trial and tax Geohot other people walking in the scene of Playstation 3.

 ""

Apparently, during the investigation into where they have been cast, the company found a file named Japan Anonymous containing the slogan of the group,''We are Legion.'' From time to wait to have more data, but I'll give my opinion on the subject.

Sony:

Are clearly seeking to deflect the stares and look for a scapegoat to get rid them of the number of sticks they are receiving. Sony will have to solve two big questions that all users are: Who and how he has done.

They have been involved in the problem 77 million accounts, in which a good number of them had data on the credit card tucked into the system, and now are in the hands of others without knowing they are doing with them.

By the way, as a detail of goodwill on the part of Sony , we offer all users a free month of Playstation Plus.

That is, you can download all the games you have people who are subscribing to the face, but probably after the end of that month, the vast majority of games we can not play them again until we pay. This is what Sony value to users.

Anonymous:

They are a group of people who think beyond good and evil, and they can do whatever they please without considering the consequences. No group has to say as I have to think or not. If I want to boycott Sony and not buying their products I will, but these people all he did was hurt the millions of users who were not playing for some weeks by the DDoS attack to the servers.

Personally, I think that are not involved, since an attack of this magnitude, probably due to ego would love to declare that they are the authors. To be a group that believes in freedom of each, are trying to take people where they care about.

We'll see how this war ends, but it seems to go for long.

More data about data theft Sony

By hack on 03.May.2011 facebook_16 twitter_16 delicious_16 bitacoras

It seems that Playstation Network is not the only affected in the robbery / assault that took place almost two weeks, also reveals that Sony Online Entertainment servers had serious problems where hackers gained access to data from millions of users.

How can this happen to such a big company like Sony? Maybe a leak of a worker, or simply carelessness on the security system to work on other details, but what is clear is that many users lost bank details and credit card so you have to change passwords, delete accounts and other fiablidad duties which leaves Sony on the floor.

What does the theft of SOE platform?

  • 24 million SOE accounts
  • Information from a stale database, 2007
  • Around 13,000 credit / debit users outside U.S.
  • Nearly 11,000 debit card users in Austria, Germany, Holland and Spain.

Sony Online as a reward to give away 30 days for affected users to play their MMO (DC Universe among them).

I'm sorry, but I just lost confidence in this company, you may have a leak by a minor hack, but does this? I too think they should take better care of your online system.

As a curious fact: 20% of U.S. users who posses a Playstation 3 are thinking of switching to Xbox 360 for this serious problem.
