As many of you know, and you suffer, the latest update of the Nintendo DSi / DSi XL has blocked all those cartridges the scene of the DS. But a few still offer support to run backups, including the Ez Flash Vi .

To operate the cartridge into our console need first of all the microSD is formatted in FAT 32 and preferably slowly. This will ensure that we do not have to redo the whole process once we have completed.

We need:

• Vi Ez Flash Update 1.4.3 . (Including the operating system is)
• DS Lite, DSi and DSi XL (XL DSi DSi or a version prior to 1.4.3.)

Instructions:

1. Unzip the file Vi Ez Flash Update 1.4.3. and we will be the following files and folders:

• Folder EZ5Shell
• File ez5isys
• File ez5firmwreUP_V101.nds
• File EZ5F106A.nds

2. Once you put everything in microSD, we put this in the cartridge, the cartridge into the console (remember that you must be a console that does not have version 1.4.3.). Once in the menu, we have to do two updates firmware cartridge for this work.

3. Ez5firmwreUP_V101.nds execute the file, we will ask you to press the Y button and then A. Wait a few seconds and the phrase''''Succesfully Upgrade now turn off the console back on.

4. Now it execute permissions EZ5F106A.nds exactly repeating the process seen in step 3. Again when you see the phrase''Upgrade''Succesfully, we again turn off the console.

5. MicroSD delete the file both as EZ5F106A.nds ez5firmwreUP_V101.nds. This step is optional, but updates to avoid possible error.

6. We will have the cartridge ready to run on Nintendo DSi 1.4.3. or 3DS version 2.1.0.4.

R4 Tutorial RTS Platinum (www.r4ipt.com)

1. First of all, and as usual, download the System 3.2 R4iPt
2. MicroSD formatted in FAT32. (I recommend formatting quickly without it)
3. Unzip the downloaded system and we will be 2 folders. (_system_ And moonshl2) and 3 files (_DS_MENU.DAT, _ds_menu.sys and moonshl2.nds)
4. Copy these 5 elements to the root of the microSD.
5. We put the microSD into the cartridge and the latter to the DS that we want. (This tutorial does not work for 3DS, you have the link above to operate the cartridge in 3DS)
6. y. .. Done! we can enjoy all the options offered by this cartridge.

Another cartridge that is currently compatible with the new Nintendo 3DS R4 RTS is the Platinum. In this tutorial we are going to explain how to update the R4 so that you can enjoy your home appliances, music and more on the new Nintendo handheld.

Note: This tutorial only apply if the cover as shown in our Platinum RTS R4 is different from''Finding Nemo.'' If you try with another cartridge design than the R4 RTS Platinum (R4ipt.com) may become unusable.

Need the following:

• Nintendo DS, DSi and DSi XL.
• 3DS Firmware Update 1.0.0.0
• PT OS R4 RTS 3.2.

1) After downloading the files. Unzip the RTS R4i PT OS 3.2 and we have to be the following files and folders.

• Folder _system_
• Folder moonshl2
• _DS_MENU File
• _ds_menu File
• Moonshl2.nds file

Very important, do not delete this system because we're going to re-use within a few steps.

2) Now unzip the other file plays that we had outstanding (3DS Firmware Update 1.0.0.0) and we will be the following files:

• _DS_MENU File
• _ds_menu File
• EON_Write file

These three files are copied to the microSD. We will leave a notice on the computer asking if you want to overwrite the files. We hope so and copy it to finish.

3) Once you put everything on the microSD, put it in the cartridge and is in a DS Lite, DSi and DSi XL (which have at hand).

When loading the cartridge on and we will see the two screens in black and put down the Press''[A] to continue [EON] ...''

Press A and then let the process (highly desirable that the battery is at 100% or the battery charger on). It takes about 5 minutes.

When displayed on screen''OK''Verify ... we can turn the console.

4) Reconnect the microSD to the PC and remove the card ficherosde the following:

• _DS_MENU File
• _ds_menu File
• EON_Write file

5) Now take the RTS R4i PT OS 3.2 The following files:

• _DS_MENU File
• _ds_menu File

The copy to the microSD, and voila, our R4i RTS yantedremos Platinum Nintendo prepared to work in 3DS.
