The scene moves at breakneck speed, was already known. But "developers" increasingly surprise us more with their progress and speed at getting applications.
This weekend, a Spanish scener, Jaicrab, has released a utility called USB Firm Loader, which enables PS3 to run on an alternative firmware via USB. This is the first major step forward in the future to use a "custom firmware" for PS3. (A Custom Firmware could mean access to re-install other operating systems on PS3 "Other", access to PSN, and many other features).
This breakthrough will allow us to test new firmware and probably undergo modifications are the basis of new developments on the PS3.
The Team PSJailbreak has opened the door to anyone imagined scene less than a month. At the end will be crucial to get one of these gadgets to enjoy the full power of this great machine.
